우선 교수님께 허접한 질문 드려 죄송합니다.

다름이 아니라 영어시험을 봤는데.학생들 사이에 논란을 일으키는
문제하나가 있어서요.
교수님의 의견을 듣고 싶습니다.
문장완성형인데요..
(시험지를 주지 않아 그냥 기억나는 대로..)

emulate 동의어..바꿔쓸수 있는 단어찾기입니다.

1.mimic 2.challenge 이 두개의 답을 쓴 사람들이 팽팽히
맞서고 있습니다.

mimic이라고 체크한 학생들은 모방했다의 동의어로 답으로 생각했고
challenge는 겨루다.도전하다의 의미로 답을 썼다고 하더군요.

emulate의 뜻이 겨루다.모방하다 의 두가지 뜻이 있기때문에
저희손에서는 해결이 되지 않네요.

저두 비교급이 있는걸로 봐서 모방하다.흉내내다의 의미로는 어색해서
challenge로 했는데..
부탁드립니다.
