안녕하세요. 통역사를 꿈꾸는 학생입니다.
영어전공은 아니고 일본어 전공인데,통역사가 되고싶어 알아보니 대학원을 꼭 진학해야한다더군요..그런데 사실 집안형편이 넉넉치 않아 대학원진학은 어려울듯 싶어요;
우리사회가 학벌을 많이 따지는게 사실이잖아요..
서울에 있는 학교에 다니고있지만,명문대도 아니고,어학연수라면 어떻게든 제힘으로 다녀올수 있을것 같지만 몇년씩 유학은 꿈도 못 꿀 입니다.(외국어 공부하면서 그 나라에 유학도 안다녀오면 사실 통역사일을 하는데 있어서 마이너스가 되는건 아닌가요?)

무튼 그래서 대학원에 꼭 진학해야만 할수 있는 직업이라면 포기해야 할것 같아서요..

통역사는 정말 대학원을 졸업하는것밖에는 방법이 없나요?
냉정하게 현실에서 어떤지 답변 부탁드려요..

통역사가 되기 위해 통역대학원을 졸업하는 것은 우리사회가 학벌을 많이 따지기 때문이 아니라 통역이란 것이 전문 직종이라 전문학교를 나오는게 실력을 기르는데 첩경이기 때문입니다. 어학연수할 예산이면 대학원을 다닐 수도 있지 않나요? 문제는 일어 통번역일이 많지 않아 대학원을 나와도 생계가 확실히 보장되지 않는다는데 있습니다.
