안녕하세요 교수님
저는 현재 홍익대학교 불문과 3학년인 김진표 입니다.

현재 저는 학부 졸업 후에 파리 제 3대학 통역대학원(ESIT)에 입학하는 것을 목표로 하고 있습니다.
제 영어와 프랑스어 실력은 우선 프랑스어가 더 영어보단 자연스럽구요.
영어는 특출나진 않습니다. 원어민과 자유로운 소통과 토론 정도 까지 가능합니다.
외국어에 워낙 관심이 많앗는데, 집안이 어려워 교환학생도, 외국에 나가본 적도 없습니다.
현재 저는 대학 등록금,생활비,집월세,책값, 시험비,어머니 용돈 까지 다 드리면서 학교를 다녀왔습니다.
유학이나 방학때 외국에 나갈 돈을 도저히 마련할 수가 없고, 정말 여러모로 먹고살며 학교를 다녀야 했습니다.
  저는 프랑스어를 현재 2년~2년반정도 공부를 했는데
정말 제가 할 수 있는 모든 매체와 모든 방법을 동원해서 해왔습니다.
제가 자만하는 것은 아니지만 주변에서도 제가 말하는 걸 가장 잘한다고들 해서
이쪽 길로 계속 나아가보려고 합니다..
현재 11월 C1 시험을 보려고 합니다. 이상 제 소개였습니다.
제 질문은 3가지 입니다.
1. 학부를 졸업하고 ESIT에 입학하는 것이 많이 어렵나요? 현실적인 난이도가 궁금합니다..
    (현재 저는 23살이고, 3학년입니다. 군대는 면제입니다.)

2. 저는 ESIT에서 졸업을 해서 통역사의 길을 가고 싶습니다.
    근데 솔직히 통역사가 돈도 잘 못벌고, 별로다 하는 선배분들이 너무 많아서
    개인적으로 좀 걱정이 되는 부분도 있습니다.
    저는 정말 어렵게 자라왔는데, 그렇다고 저에게 돈은 중요치 않습니다 교수님.
    제가 궁금한것은, 제가 이런 환경에서 통역사의 길을 가는 데 재정적으로 많이 힘들어질까 하는 것입니다.


3. 저는 휴학을 하고 뭔가 경험을 쌓고 집안을 위해 돈을 벌까란 생각도 했지만,
    군대를 안가서 공부 할때 해야지 라는 생각으로 내년에도 계속해서 학교를 다닐 겁니다.
    마음같아선 ESIT에 졸업하고 바로 입학하고 싶은데, 현실적으로 어렵다는 걸 많이 압니다.
    제 능력에 따라 달라지겠지만.. 가장 입학을 위해 할 수 있는 기본적인 훈련이 뭘까요?

1. 학부를 졸업하고 ESIT에 입학해도 늦지는 얺습니다. 30살까지는 무난합니다. "일단 전공 언어 사용국가에서 1년 이상 거주해야한다"는 조건이 있어 문제지요.
2. ESIT에서 불/영을 공부하기가 쉽지 않고, 에지트에는 한국어가 없기 때문에 더 어렵습니다. 통역사가 실력만 있으면 돈도 벌 수 있지만 그렇지 않으면 기계통역 등에 밀리게 될 겁니다. 과거 주한 프랑스대사관에서 주선하는 프랑스 정부 장학금은 에지트에서 한불 번역 공부를 위한 것이었는데 지금도 있는 지는 모르겠네요. 장학금이 없으면 힘들지요, 파리는 물가가 한국보다 두배정도 비싸거든요.
3. 학부를 졸업해야 에지트 입학이 될걸요?

에지트 입학과 수학을 위해서는 영어를 포기하고 불어 실력을 하늘 만큼 쌓아야합니다. 두 외국어 전공은 거의 불가능하고, 에지트도 허락하지 않을 거에요...
