We are very pleased to announce that the Department of Linguistics, Macquarie University signed a Student Exchange Agreement with Graduate School of Interpretation and Translation, Hankook University of Foreign Studies in March, 2001. The Agreement is in force now, and the two schools will exchange students, aiming at complementing each other in providing students with better education and training opportunities. Thus, the students on the T&I program in Macquarie now have chances to get training not only in an English speaking country where they can perfect their English in an ideal environment, but also in Korea as well where they will learn about their target market more closely. We believe the students of both schools will greatly benefit from the arrangements that the Agreement will provide.
