직업상의 매력 뿐만아니라 세상 돌아가는 것에 항상 눈과 귀를 열어 놓을수 있다는 점이 좋아서 동시 통역 공부를 하고 있는 학생(?)입니다.
다름이 아니오라 학원 수강 중에 이해 되지 않는 부분이 있어서 여쭤보고 싶어서 글을 쓰게 되었습니다. 위 글 중에서 the low value of the U.S. dollar in terms of the Japanese yen 부분 해석이 잘 되지 않는군요. 저는 엔화에 대한 달러의 약세 라고 번역을 했는데 강의하는 분은 엔저라고 하는군요.
여타 학원 게시판을 통해서도 질문을 했는데 엔화에 대한 미화의 약세라고 답변을 들어 아직 영어나 배경 지식에 있어서 초보 수준인 저로서는 어느 말이 맞는지 확신이 서지 않네요.

어느 해석이 맞는지, 그렇다면 어째서 그렇게 되는것인지 자세한 설명 부탁드립니다.
